Classmate Moana Heu was recently acknowledged in the Fall edtion of IMUA's Alumni Class News section for her promotion to the rank of major with the Honolulu Police Department.
As ranking officer she is now in charge of of District 2—Wahiawa, which as reported in IMUA, covers Mililani, Mililani Mauka, Wahiawa, Schofield, Wheeler, Whitmore and the North Shore from Ka'ena Point to Kahalu'u.
Moana, who is a 25-year veteran with the Honolulu Police, was previously assigned to District 7 (East Honolulu), District 8 (Kapolei), District 5 (Kalihi), Human Resources and Internal Affairs.
